Description

Heating hood for the HLL Perforator extraction apparatus SON02269 for determining the formaldehyde content of wood-based materials in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12460-5:2016-05.

The heating hood is designed for the 1,000 ml round-bottomed flask of the Perforator test setup and features two heating zones as well as a power control for adjusting the heating output.

The plastic-coated metal housing offers high chemical resistance and is designed for laboratory use. The connection cable is 1.5 m long.

The heating hood is part of the complete test setup for the Perforator method offered by Landgraf HLL and is available separately as an accessory or replacement unit.

Note on heating capacity
Under suitable test conditions, 500 ml of water can be brought to the boil within approximately 10–15 minutes. The actual heating time depends on the specific operating conditions.

Normative note
DIN EN 120:1992-08 has been superseded by DIN EN ISO 12460-5:2016-05. The former standard designation is still cited to facilitate cross-referencing with existing perforator test set-ups and older test method designations.
